So I'm going to vent right now.. I know I talked about church yesterday, but that was before friends and I got together for lunch.. During lunch people started asking about what they thought of the sermon and there were a couple of people who got really offended that he was pushing small groups.. They thought that was what all his sermon was about. Well it wasn't!
There was so much more to what he was saying. He wasn't saying that you had to join a sandals small group! He was pushing all of us to have authetic realationships outside of the church building (or tent). He was challenging the body to build accountability and mentoring relationships with other believers, to build a community of believers outside the bigger body. Now an easy way to do all this is to join a small group. He wasn't saying you had to join a sandals small group.
Alright I'm done and I got to get ready to drive to APU to registar for classes. Sorry for the venting I had to get it off my chest. and sorry for the typo's, I didn't spell check. I hope everyone has a good day.. Peace!

Haha....oh Kyle...you are so funny. I totally agree with you. The more people talk bad about Sandals the more it makes me love it! Yay for a church that's not afraid of being real, as cliche as that sounds.
