Experiencing Life

I know this is probably going to be a weird blog.. But I haven't blogged in a week and some days and I feel bad because of it...
This morning I got up and was thinking about how I love hearing people’s stories... or should I say testimonies... I guess it is because I like to know where people come from and what has happened in their life. You can usually tell a lot about a person when they communicate about their childhood and experiences in the development stages of life. What I like most is witnessing changes in people’s lives.
I had the privilege (and I really do mean that) of living in the dorms all four years of college, two of those years I was an RA. I enjoy seeing where my residents are now and remembering when they moved in. I can remember Justin, Tyler, Brandon, Brendon, Joe, and many others move in to the hall the first day.. I can remember how timid and fragile they were as freshman. I have seen God move in their lives and direct them to where they are now. I'm in no way saying that I had an impact on there lives, what I am saying is that I'm so thankful that I got the privilege to see them grow to who they are now.. I look forward to the next stages they have coming... All of them will be graduating in a couple of years, some of them will get married after graduation (which is very common for CBU), some of them will go to seminary, others will go to grad school or start working. I'm glad I got to share this experience with them.
