I'm totally amazed at what we are studying for student leadership training. I seriously think I'm getting more out of it then some of the student leaders are.. So we are learning about our strengths, I know it sounds so childish, but I am learning so much more about who I am and why I function the way I do every single time we have Strengths classes. Today we watched short nooma-ish movies about developing our strengths (These Videos were a mimic of Nooma's, except the speaker is british), They are called "Trombone Player Wanted".. They were made for companies and business people, but they can be applied to almost anyone. The Video's are amazing and made me think of the decisions that I have made (not out of my own pleasure but out of pleasing others) in the past and how I live my life now. Basically I have came to the conclusion that I obtained my business degree because I wanted to please my Dad, now I really don't want anything to do with it. Praise God that my relationship with my Dad has changed and I am able to talk to him as a friend and not just a father, because I probably would of went to Grad School to get my MBA and been stuck at something a actually really don't like doing, but I know how to do.
Now I want to learn about how I can properly use my strengths everyday to feel accomplished, strong, and pleased with my work. I want to know how I can properly use them in my office so we will have a well rounded staff and group.
I know know that I don't have slight OCD, I just need structure and a routine and when that routine is broken it's a little bit of a downer... Well I'm done typing.. By the way my top 5 stengths are Harmony, Discipline, Communication, Developer, and Restorative. Welp, got to go, hope all is well... PEACE!

I know what you mean...it's cool to see how my strengths (Empathy, communication, positivity, woo, developer) and my love languages connect (touch and encouragement).
