Everything seems to be falling into place right now with my life, well at least short term. I still have my trailor and it will be ready for me to move into by wednesday. I found out that Rent is going to be $150 a month (Praise Jesus) so I will actually be start saving money! I have a job till June, during that time I will hopefully be interviewing for a permanent possition as a admissions counselor at CBU. I picked up applications at Azusa Pacific and Biola too. So I figure I will be doing what I love (right now) no matter what! So you guys can be praying about where God wants me during this time and the journey of life.
I went shopping this weekend and got an amazing deal! I went to Costa Mesa, to the Lab, and went into Buffalo Exchange just to see if they had anything. And this is where I am going to pause and say that at this moment I love being a bigger guy because you find some of the best deals at Buffalo Exchange IF you are a bigger guy, mainly because everyone in Orange County weighs close to nothing... Well I go to the jeans section and start looking and find a pair of Diesel jeans, New! with the Tags still on them! for dirt cheap! so I bought them. Yeah Kyle got like 75% off of a $200 pair of new diesel jeans. At least I was excited! So was Ross and Justin.. well they might have been more jealous then excited.
I went to church today and we had our commissioning service for ISP (Inernational Service Project, basically missions trips) today and it was amazing. What other church can say that 25% of the people attending are going on a journey to experience God's global purpose this summer. I'm not going to lie, I was a little jealous that I'm not going to serve over seas this summer, but I know that God has a plan and a reason for me being in Riverside this summer, so I'm a little excited about that. I started crying during the service because a team going to Rwanda shared a video of what they will be doing and who they will be working with. Some of the groups going to Rwanda will be working with Hillsong Church and their campaign of 100 days of Hope, while the other groups will be working with Saddleback Church and the government of Rwanda in many different ways. It's amazing! alright I got to go work out.. Peace!
