What a crazy week!

The only way I can descride this week is crazy!! I know I blogges a little this week, but I don't quite remember the day. So we will start on thursday. Class sucked! and then I had to work.. but I got off really early because I had to pick up Leslie's boyfriend from the airport. Lets stop here for now! Leslie's boyfriend is Daniel. He is 18 (yes! 18) and I don't like him to much. He is just really Immature and not a person I see Leslie with.. she is totally not herself when she is with him!.. ok to go on.. Thursday.. Oh, after dinner I went with stanford (a friend) to check out my dates dress for YULE (it's like a chirstmas formal with no dancing, because baptist don't dance) I saw the dress and it was Hot! Well after that, Stanford and I went to the lighting of the christmas tree. Lighting of the christmas tree is a annual event CBU puts on. The choir sings songs, a narrator reads of christs birth and at the end everyone turns around to see the christmas tree in the front lawn light up! Yeah, it's pretty lame! Well, it was absolutly frezzing!! and when it ended I went to the cafe to enjoy some hot cholclate and a brownie, basically to waist time till 9:00 PM.
At 9 I had a ISP meeting (ISP is the organization I went to Japan with last year), the meeitng was to find out what countries we were going to and to see who our leaders are and all that stuff! Well the meeting was quite long and very informative. We found out lots and lots of information! Well at 10 we found out where we were going. Before this, I thought I was probably going to be selected to go back to Japan, which I was cool with, because last year was really fun and I met people I probably would have never talk to from CBU! Well Keri goes through what counntrie we are goinng to and introduces the leaders. then she starts out on the countries and the number of people sitting down by me is getting less and less. They get to Japan and they call out like 15 names and none of them are mine of my friend Nathans, we look at each other and give the "what?" facial expressions.. So after Japan, they go on to the Country of Malawi, does anyone know where Malawi is? yeah neither did I! Keri reads off all the names and I am nnot paying attention to any of them except mine! I got pick to go to Malawi! So I get up and as I look at my group I see that my friend Nathan is on the same team and then behind him I see one of my crazy residents, Tyler! Us three look at each other and all go, "what the Heck" and start cracking up. Well our leader takes our group so we can talk and she starts telling us about Malawi. She has been to Malawi to do her disortaional work for her doctories about three or four years ago. She breifly tells us where Malawi is (it's in the southeastern part of Africa) and what we will be doing (working at an orphanag and teaching at the orphanag), and other things. I am really excited about going to Malawi, I am not excited about the shots I will be getting for the trip and the malaria pills I will have to take! but I am excited to see how God will use me and the team I am on! I am excited to be working with 2 other crazy guys, and I am excited that I get to see a part of the world I have never seen.. Oh, another exciting thing is that, the two times our leader has gone to Malawi she has had a 12 hour layover in England, so that makes me really excited. I get to see two parts of the country that I have never seen. Only bad thing is that the travel time is about 17 hours, not counnting any layovers! I did a little research on Malawi and it is beautiful jungle, very very green, the temp is going to bew aroung 60 and 70 degress.. There is a lot of snakes there! umm, 80% of the country prefess to be christian (which makes me wonder why we are going there?), 15% prefess to be muslim and the other 5% have some kind of tribal religion. The country is very poor and in 2001 was considered the poorest country! I am really really excited about that, only thing I am not excited about is raising support to go. I hate asking people for money, I have to raise $2,500 by april or may! So I better get on top of this!

Well that was thursday! umm, firday, had class, then went shopping with my date for a new shirt and tue for Yule, we were very unsuccess ful, only thing we found was a tie! Friday night I went to a christmas party in Temecula. My friend, Antionette (she isn't black, her parents are just crazy) and her parents put it on., It was really fun!! and I love hearing Antionette and her mom sing! (J-dizzo, if you ever need another back up singer, let me know, she is awesome!) Oh and her Mom is an awesome Pianist. I could seriously stay at there house all day and listen to her mom play and sing and antionette sing! Her mom may be older, but she can play some awesome jazz and pop! SO back to the part, we had some good grub and had a whit elephant gift exchange, I ended up with a picture frame that I left at antionettes house. So the party ended early for Zack and I cuz I had to get up early to go shopping for Yule!

Saturday I got up around 7:30 (I know, on a saturday!) and I got dress and left to counquer the shopping! I Stopped at walmart first, to buy some wax and stuff for the LS! Then I was on my way to Victoria Gardens Mall in Ranch Cucamunga. Those of you who live in the IE (Inland Empire) or close to it, this mall is pretty cool! It's new, outside, and it resembles a downtown area crica of the 40s or 50s. and the best part is, they have an Apple store there, so no driving all the way to New Port or San Diego! So I did conqure! I bought a new black dress shirt for 18 dollars (holla) and a nice wool jacket for 116 dollars, which was an orignal $200! I also bought a case for my Ipizzle. I saw some other things that I wanted but couldnn't afford! I bought my bro his christmas gift. A new dress shirt from express (he is so metro). Ok, freaken $50 for a stupid shirt! I couldn't believe it! but that is one down and umm, 3 no 4 to go for the fam. My mom never tells me what she wants, so I always get her a $50 gift certificate to like nordstrroms or robinsons may or macys. My dad is easy, I just go to Starbucs and buy him one of there gift boxes! he likfes his Coffee. and my sis and bro in-law. like a 25 or 30 dollar gift certificate to Target (there favorite store), then there is the nephew. I usually ask my mom what he wants or my sis. That kid is getting so Expensive and he wants everything! I let him play with my Ipod and I think he may want one of those now! opps sorry sis! bad mistake! Man I get off on a lot of tangents while wiritng my journals!

So going back to saturday, I got done with shopping at 11 and made it back to school for lunch at 11:30. after lunch I waxed the LS, well some of the LS, like at the bottom where it look like I hit something, it was all black and everything! And then I took a nap and got up around 2:30 to finish a paper that was due on saturday! Tired to open it on my nac and it didn't open, then went to the old PC and tried to ipen it and it wasn't there.. Oh, 12 pages down the drain! thats what I thought till I remember that I printed it out before I left home! So I knew I couldn't finish it in 2 hours! I e-mailed my prof and told him what happen and he gave me an extention till monday, thansk you Jesus! around 4:00 I started getting ready for Yule, I left my room around 5 to pick up my date and tak her some roses (man I'm such a pimp! haha) she is ready and we are talking ad someone comes in to her cottage and tells us the Yule has been canceled due to weather conditions, I tell him to shut up and he leaves, then like 400 other people tell us that Yule is canceled.. $40 tickets down the drain! So we make different plans and go take pictures and look at christmas light at the Mission Inn (that place is awesome). Then we head our way down to Downtown Disney. oh to back up... I let Daniel Borrow my disney pass for firday and the people at the gate take it from him (because it doesn't look like him!), Needless to say I was pissed.. At that point I hated Daniel and wanted to sock him in the face! ok, to go on now! We get to Yorba Linda in like ohh an hour and a half because of traffic, so we pull off and eat at fridays. My date orders a Margarita and I think nothing of it, she is almost 22 and shecan handle herself. I was wrong.. You think Nikki is bad, oh.. My date finished her Margaritta, and she was feeling good... She got about 10 times louder and was stumbling a little. haha I was lausghing.. After paying a bill of $63.00 for two people at fridays, we left to downtown disney to meet some friends.. My date was pretty hillarious on the way there... So we get there and park and I let her hold on to me so that she wouldn't fall or anything, she tries to sober herself up before she meets some friends, she did a pretty good job at it to! By this time it is about 9 o'clock and I am getting a little tired,, we walk around and look at store and watch the fireworks, all that stuff.. then oh about 10 o'clock I get damn tired and I am reay to go,... But I out on my not tired face and go on.. That didn't last very long, the fun face became the tired grumpy face.. and I was grumpy.. So we got back to the car about 10:30 and got back to riverside around 11:30 and called it a night.

Now it is 9 0'clock and I still have two papers to type, good thing I started them, well got to get to homework peace!
